Welcome to Year 6
A very warm welcome to Year 6! We are thrilled to be able to welcome back everyone after such a disrupted year last year. As in every year group, there will always be challenges as well as triumphs and this year is particularly exciting with the pupils preparing for their transition to secondary school! However, we hope that we can support and encourage the children to take on the challenges and the additional responsibilities with determination and develop their resilience in readiness for the future.
We have a magnificent team in Year 6 this year including
Trinity: Mr Lebbon
Robinson: Mrs Cooper & Miss Brown
Mrs Sargeant, Mrs Palmer, Mrs Chapman & Mrs Wakefield
In the Autumn term, we will be learning about Slave Trade & WW1 History; The Human Body in Science; Spacial Sense & British Geographical Issues in Geography; Learning about Animals in French; Looking at how following God can bring about Freedom & Justice in R.E as well as lots of other interesting topics.
Maths will see a focus on Place Value & the Four Operations whilst in English, we will be looking at the 'The 1000 year old boy' by Ross Welford.
If there are any queries or concerns, please feel free to make an appointment to talk with Mr Lebbon, Mrs Cooper or Miss Brown, alternatively feel free to email us any questions or queries you may have.
